Flood leaves campers stranded

Heavy rains left 28 campers stranded at the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵValley Campground, as rising water levels caused the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵRiver to breach its banks and pour into the site on Sunday morning (July 22). The river, which began flooding just before 4 a.m.

Gas leak leads to evacuation

A municipal work crew severed a natural gas line in Dentville Wednesday morning, causing workers to evacuate the area and request that other residents close their windows to keep the gas out. Firefighters and RCMP responded to the scene at 8:30 a.m.
