With the Canadian squad receiving its first world junior championship loss against Sweden after 20 consecutive tournament wins on Saturday (Dec. 29), it wasn't one of the best days for the country's beloved sport.

There is a saying, all good things must come to an end and the 樱桃视频Cougars certainly found out the hard way last Friday night (Nov. 16) in Lumby against the Fighting Saints where the Cats played well but came up short losing 4-2.

It looked like a classic David and Goliath match-up comparing the Quest University men's basketball team to their older, bulkier rivals during warm-up on Saturday night (Nov. 10).

The 樱桃视频Cougars gave away oil, gas and beef on "Alberta night" at Brennan Park arena Friday (Nov. 9) but they certainly had no intention of giving the game away to the Barrhead River Kings.

A group of young local eagles journeyed east last weekend, swooping down to clasp the Merritt Pee Wee Hockey Tournament trophy on Sunday (Nov. 4). The 樱桃视频Pee Wee Rec Eagles only lost one game on the way to the final against North Delta.

Last Friday (Nov. 2), the 樱桃视频Cougars welcomed the Vancouver Whalers into their home and almost allowed the guests to skate home with the victory. The Cats had a slow start in the first period but blew the game open in the second with six goals.
