According to the , power is back on for all but five customers on Upper Cheakamus Road. The cause of the outage is listed as a tree down across the wires.

According to the , power is back all for all but 125 customers east of 樱桃视频Valley Road.
Update 8:50 a.m. Oct. 25
The windstorm overnight on Tuesday knocked out power to thousands of 樱桃视频residents.
As of 8:45 a.m., BC Hydro says power remains out for close to 2, 000 customers East of 樱桃视频Valley Road.
Folks in that area have been in the dark since about midnight., according to the BC
Crews have been assigned to get folks back online, but there is no estimated time the power will be back on.
The cause is under investigation.
reported at 7:45 a.m, Wednesday that “very strong outflow winds estimated at 60 to 70 km\h” continued in the 樱桃视频area.
BC Hydro said at 9 a.m. on Wednesday that the storm had knocked out power to about 100,000 customers overnight on the South Coast and Vancouver Island. "Crews will work throughout the day to restore the remaining 26,000 customers," r (formerly Twitter).
"BC Hydro understands that outages are disruptive and thanks its customers for their patience as crews work to repair the damage and restore power," reads a news release from BC Hydro.
The Crown corp. also noted that its crews are receiving reports of downed power lines.
"A downed power line is an emergency. Call 911 and stay at least 10 metres back. BC Hydro crews will work with first responders to make the area safe," the news release states.

Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for tonight (Oct. 24) for Squamish.
Outflow winds of 70 kilometres per hour with gusts to 90 kilometres per hour will develop through Howe Sound as an arctic air-mass settles over the Interior of B.C.,
The alert is issued to warn residents that high winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
Drivers should expect hazardous driving conditions on highways, such as the Sea to Sky Highway, which may be subject to strong cross winds.
According to Weatherhood, which has a station on The 樱桃视频's roof in downtown Squamish, it will dip to about 4 C tonight.
Sunrise is at 7:46 a.m. Wednesday.
"Winds will diminish below warning criteria Wednesday morning but will remain fairly brisk for the remainder of this week," the alert continues.
