The Hotspot on Cleveland Avenue has an awesome, wicked and unbelievably free event for teens this Saturday (April 2).

The "Awesome, Wicked, Incredibly Free Teen Event" from 12 to 7 p.m. features computer and video gaming tournaments including X-Box and N64. There'll also be prizes, free food and free internet access.

The event is also marking the launch of the Howe Sound Off, Squamish's new online video message board. It consists of a video booth where youth are invited to sit down and record their thoughts and opinions about issues affecting their generation. The videos are screened and then uploaded to the Hotspot's video message board site where others can view them, post comments or retorts, or come into the centre and record their own video.

It's also available online at www.howesoundoff.com by Friday.
