The Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵSustainability Corporation (SSC) and various tourism stakeholders are set to host a second round of tourism forums April 10 and 11.
"Following a positive and successful initial meeting at the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵAdventure Centre with representatives from the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵSustainability Corporation, BC Centre for Tourism, Leadership and Innovation, Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵChamber of Commerce, Visitor Information, District of Squamish, Arts Council, Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵTown Centre Association, Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵCouncil, and Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵNation in attendance, the Community Tourism Foundation program hosted by Tourism BC, Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵSustainability Corp and Vancouver Coast & Mountains Region would like to extend an invitation to the various tourism related business sectors of Squamish," read a news release from the SSC.
The meetings will be held by sector, and will take place at the Adventure Centre.
On Monday April 10 from 3 to 5 p.m. the forum will cover all varieties of accommodation, then from 6 to 8 p.m. retail and restaurants will be covered.
On Tuesday April 11 from 3 to 5 p.m. the forum will cover events and the arts, followed at 6 to 8 p.m. with a forum on activities and attractions.
