A reality television show is seeking underappreciated Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵmoms who are hoping to exact revenge.

Crash Test Mommy asks: "If motherhood is so highly revered these days, why doesn't it get any respect? Why do moms have to put up with family members and best friends who think they could do a better job of looking after the kids and running a household? How can a mom get revenge?"

Produced and filmed in Vancouver by Paperny Films, Crash Test Mommy is into its third season on the Life Network. The show is based on the premise that critics of mothers everywhere should try walking a mile in mom's shoes before spewing their own theories about parenting.

"For most who accept the challenge, that mile will seem like a marathon," said Dawn Millman of Paperny Films. Overworked, underappreciated moms (or dads if the primary caregiver) are invited to get away for a weekend while her biggest parenting critic - usually a friend, husband or relative - steps into her shoes. During her weekend away, Mom gets to watch the action going on in her home via webcams and is encouraged to send feedback.

Producers are currently looking for moms with multiple kids who live in the Lower Mainland, Squamish, Victoria, Nanaimo and Okanogan area to star in seasons three and four of the show. Shooting begins sometime this month. Interested moms can reach producers by phone at (604) 228-1960 or by email at [email protected].
