Expect construction delays of up to 15 minutes Friday (June 24) from 9 am - noon between Lions Bay and Porteau Cove.

Next week between those same locations expect delays of up to 15 minutes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Between Sunset Beach and Kelvin Grove, expect delays of up to 30 minutes on Monday (June 27) from 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. then from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 10 p.m. to midnight. On Tuesday and Wednesday (June 28 and 29) expect 30 minute delays from 12:01 a.m. to 6 a.m. then again from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 10 p.m. to midnight. On Thursday (June 30) from 12:01 a.m. to 6 a.m. and from 10 a.m. to noon.There won't be any delays on Friday ( July 1) and through the rest of the long weekend.

Expect delays of up to 15 minutes from 11 p.m. Sunday to 3 a.m. Monday; 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday. Expect delays of up to 5 minutes at all other times, and at various locations.

Correction

On page 29 of the June 10 edition of the newspaper, The Chief stated that Jim Sinclair was part of a duo credited with the first ascent of the Stawamus Chief's Grand Wall. In fact, Ed Cooper and Jim Baldwin completed the first ascent. The Chief regrets the error.
