Correction

On page 1 of the July 1 edition of the newspaper, The Chief stated that Kris Hopping is a new employee of the District of Squamish. In fact, The B.C. Conservation Foundation through its Bear Aware program employs Hopping.

On page 13 of the same edition, The Chief stated that Rocky Mountain Production Services provided staging for the Relay for Life. The stage and tents were actually donated by Rental Network Ltd. of Squamish.

The Chief regrets the errors.
