Grad dafs and darts to inconsiderate dog owners

Community

A leisure centre full of daffodils to McDonald's and Tim Hortons for their generous donations to the Howe Sound Secondary Convocation ceremony. You are continually called upon for donations and your unfailing devotion to this community is duly noted and appreciated.Daffodils also to my great assistants Muff, Kathy, Donna, Pat, Megan, Carla, Alysha, Blair, Jay and all the grade 11 parents who baked for the event. I couldn't have done it without you!Deb KentDaffodils to the staffs of Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵElementary and Garibaldi Highlands for the wonderful retirement party. Knowing and working with you has been such a delight for me. Special kudos to Alma and Karen for the song; Linda, Selene and Matt for the skit; Nick for the speech, and of course, Nancy for hosting the whole thing in her beautiful garden.Paul FletcherTruckloads of darts to the dog owners that don't pick up their dog's feces from Brennan Park sports fields or school fields, or any publicly used place, for that matter. Dog feces can transmit hookworms, tapeworms, roundworms and a parasitic worm that causes ocular larva migrans, which causes serious eye damage to children. If you don't want to pick up after your dog, leave them at home so our children can stay healthy and free of the hazards associated with dog feces and its diseases. Be considerate and try some common courtesy. Parks and schools are for everyone to enjoy. Please: Bag it and toss it in the trash.A responsible, considerate dog ownerA bench and a stadium full of daffodils to the Valleycliffe PAC.
