Former District of 樱桃视频Coun. Lyle Fenton will seek the nomination for the New Democratic Party in the upcoming provincial election.
The West Vancouver-Garibaldi NDP Constituency Association is holding its nomination meeting in 樱桃视频on Sunday, April 17, at the Sea to Sky Hotel in the Eagle room. The meeting will start at 2 p.m. and is open to the public.
The guest speaker will be Craig Keating, who is a City of North Vancouver Councilor and the NDP candidate for the North Vancouver-Lonsdale riding.
Election co-chair Suzanne Pask confirmed Wednesday night (March 23) that Fenton, who served on 樱桃视频council from 1996 to 1999, would be seeking the nomination.
"We've had a number of people interested," she said.
The deadline for candidates to come forward is April 7.
