Darts to memory marker vandals

Community

Bottles of daffodils to Cliff at Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵBottle Depot for offering to sort a huge number of items for recycling, the proceeds of which are earmarked for a youth educational fund. His random act of kindness went above and beyond his regular duties.

A big bunch of daffodils to the young boy who turned in my purse at the Save-On. Thanks a million.

Darts to the party who took Alex's memory marker from the Brennan spawning channel. That's desecration, get some help.

A long weekend full of daffodils to all sponsors, volunteers, participants and supporters of the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵDays Festival. Though your hard work and efforts may sometimes go unnoticed, without all that you do this weekend just wouldn't be the same. This event is meant to showcase Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ- our talents, our beauty and our community spirit. From the feedback I heard, we accomplished that this year. Thank you.

A Proud Resident

Huge bunches of daffodils to Fire Chief Ray Saurette, Constable John and Constable Griffin for providing us with a sound system for the Kids' Sports Day. We sure appreciated your help.

Ronald McDonald, Jens and Mary Rolinski

Daffodils to Mitch Chang from the Mountain Burger House for the special deal and delivering a group of our residents a delicious lunch. Daffodils also to all the volunteers who lent a hand during the Loggers Sports weekend, we had a great time. Special thanks to Taylor, Kaitlyn and Devon for the extra help, I couldn't have done it without you!

A warm thank you to the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵYacht Club for their support of the Downwind Run Outrigger Race. Their assistance organizing escort boats to ensure the safety of our paddlers was appreciated. Mahalo from the False Creek Racing Canoe Club.

Darts to the dog owners that walk on Depot Road in Brackendale and let their pets use the road to "do their business". You know better.

Darts to all the road cyclists who find it necessary to ride 2 to 5 abreast on the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵValley Road and make no effort to move over for traffic. Waiving your arms impatiently for cars to go around you does not work on blind corners and double solid lines. The road was built for cars not bikes. Have some consideration and use some common sense before there is an accident.
