We found the most yelly parkade in all of B.C.

If you’ve been contemplating a weekend trip over to Victoria we’ve got something that might push you over the edge to commit and make that ferry reservation: the most yelly parkade in all of British Columbia.

The Bastion Square Parkade is located at 575 Yates Street, right downtown, and it’s got more exclamation points than all of my past V.I.A. headlines combined.

Upon entering, this sign lets you know that the ceiling is only 1.8 metres in height and that you should take note. No eyebrows shouldreallybe raised at this point.

When you turn the corner, however, you might notice that another sign is… well… also quite enthusiastic. For no apparent reason.

Keep right! Don’t you even think of going to the left of this sign! Make sure you keep to the right! - Bob Kronbauer

When it comes time to park you’ll notice another yelly sign letting you know a thing.

Small car only! Don’t you dare park here if you aren’t driving a small car! Seriously! - Bob Kronbauer

Once you exit your vehicle and get into the stairwell, more! There are more exclamation points on the signage! On the door of each of the nine floors!

DON’T YOU DARE KEEP THIS GODDAMNED DOOR OPEN! - Bob Kronbauer

When you’ve done your shopping or your eating at Pagliacci’s and you go to leave, things tone down a bit. “Pay station” and “Thanks for visiting downtown” have no punctuation following the words presented in the Helvetica font; they’re just left hanging there leaving you to wonder if the pay station reallyisin the direction of the arrow on the sign and if they reallyarethankful.

We may never know!
