BYES: The defending champion Vancouver Whitecaps and 2023 runner-up CF Montreal get first-round byes.
FORMAT: The six preliminary round consists of single matches with the quarterfinals and semifinals two-match affairs (home and away). The final, slated for Sept. 24 or 25, is a single game.
AT STAKE: The Voyageurs Cup and a berth in the CONCACAF Champions Cup, the confederation's elite men's club competition.
